Many thanks to Baz for hosting this week despite being unwell. A really good theme, and one that everyone should have photos for, so NO excuses for not posting!!
1) Montezuma's Well, Arizona. This is a natural limestone sinkhole fed by an underground spring. It maintains an almost constant level of water even in times of drought. The water is highly carbonated and has high levels of arsenic. Despite this, five unique species live here that are not found anywhere else.
2) Cloud reflections? Or grass growing in the sky? You decide.
3) Raindrops suspended on a spider-web.
4) Cleddau River sunset, Milford Haven, Wales.

DeleteHi Mitch. Your picture and comments on Montezuma's well are fascinating. The capture of the reeds amongst the cloud reflections is beautiful and your raindrops suspended in a web - that is a glorious picture. Love the little pictures I can see in the droplets. Maybe just me but a nice candidate for banner pic next week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Benni :-)) I was really pleased with the raindrops on the spider-web shot, but wasn't easy to get. Out of about 100 shots, I only got two or three useable ones.
DeleteA good variety of watery photos. Love Montehzuma's well, gives me an idea for a murder story. Good effect with the reflections and the water drops are unique. Yes, next week's banner picture Mitch - don't be shy. Even wales has its picturesque corners.
