Picture This #207 ~ Cemeteries, Crypts, Headstones

All three of these were taken at Oakdale Cemetery here in Wilmington, North Carolina. This was one of the first places I visited when I moved here last November. It is a rural cemetery.

    I don't know how I overlooked these lovely statues!! The middle is my favorite, a bit sad, but so beautiful with the rays on sun on the white marble.

    These are all beautiful, Danette. I love the first one of the girl wrapping a garland of flowers around the rough hewn cross.It makes me think the person that is buried there was a nature lover.
