Hi Belita!! I love your three photos for this theme :-)) Nice shot of the pushchair, contrasting it's blue colour against that of the sea. Very good shot of the nun!! Some fun in the sun to finish. I visited Madeira some years ago, I'd really like to visit there again one day.
Nice shots, Belita. Very striking blues in that last photo and some nice bits of tan, too! ; )
Why is the nun covering her face. Was it cold? Or was she intimidated at having her picture taken? I've never seen a nun wearing sun glasses before. Too cool!
Cool stroller, too...such ingenious construction, these days!
these are great Belita, and they all have me curious...where is the baby and his/her parent? why is the nun covering her face? what are the men talking about? some beautiful blue hues!
I remember well, the baby was in the chair and parents very nearby. Oh, that was because of the low temperature. Most probably, they were talking about football...
3 very interesting photos. A blue pram not everyday thing, a blue nun I have never seen and I think the bloke in the third picture even has a blue tattoo.
Blue prams are often seen in Portugal, and so are nuns in blue. Sky blue is the traditional habit of nuns who are members of orders that have a particular devotion to the Virgin Mary.
hi belita your pics speak by themselves as usual. I love the solitude of the baby pram very much. it transmits something to the soul. adieu amiga y buem domingo
Nice trio of photos for the theme. The position of the blue stroller seems like a sculpture. That's a great candid shot of the blue nun. The photo of the group in Madeira exudes warmth.
I simply love all 3 of your blues, though blue is not your favourite. I see you in reds, yes. I love blue, any blue, then I love green and yellows and pinkish hues too, but red is not my colour at all. A distinctive Belita signature prevails in them all. Love from one of your greatest fans, guess who? *winks*
A perfect trio of blue
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anders!
DeleteYou're welcome, Belita.

Yes, it was very cold. Nuns wearing sun glasses are commonly seen in Portugal. The light is very bright....

ReplyDeletelove each one . Especially the Nun. And yes where is the Baby? LOL!
You are always so kind, Susan!
DeleteI am another one enchanted by the picture of the nun. I also love the hodgepodge of blues at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I wanted to take a picture of a woman painting so I gathered my courage with you as my inspiration and she said yes.
Thanks, Benni! Good to know that by thinking of me you did it...

ReplyDeleteThanks, Nico, for your kind words!
DeleteThe first one tells a story, the second one represents the prayers from Fatima, and I think the last one is dominated by beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteI like them all!
Marcel, good to read your comment! Thanks!
