My first shot was taken at Aberglasney Gardens in Wales. I know nothing about names of flowers except for a very few, but I sure love the color of this, whatever it is!
My second is the roof of the gazebo at the Keyport waterfront.
And my last - the blue sky over Mount Charleston in Nevada:

ReplyDeleteA blue roof is a nice change from the typical colors. Nothing beats a sunny day with a blue sky in the mountains :) A great selection of blue hues!

ReplyDeleteHi Honey!! Love all of your entries for the theme!! I remember those flowers at Aberglasny. I got a couple of shots of them, too, but mine don't look as good as yours. Funnily enough, I had decided on using a shot of a blue flower, too, but had chosen a different one taken at the National Botanical Gardens. Lovely bright blue roof on that gazebo. Wonderful shot of the approaches to Mount Charleston. I loved the scenery, and the air was so crisp and clear.

ReplyDelete3 great photos. The flowers resemble a bit the blue enzian that we have in our area on high places, but am not sure. the gazebo is something completely different and the last photo is very good.

ReplyDeleteJoanne, that first shot is absolutely exquisite. I've never seen such an elegant looking flower. So tall and slender. I love the white stripes. This reminds me of an art deco piece.Perfect for this theme. So many different shades of blue.

Lovely shots - I think, but am not positive, that the blue flowers are genetians. And I agree with Baz - that car in the middle shot really sets off the roof.

ReplyDeleteNo idea either what those blue flowers are , but they are beautiful. I so love any blue flowers, to the extent, the man has said , enough blue now in my garden, in with the reds *sulks* .......... I so hate red flowers, no idea why?
