You really have something completely different in your country. Three great rocky pictures.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pat, happy you enjoyed them. I love looking at your mountains and often long for the peace and quiet of your little village. Hugs.
DeleteWow, all three of your shots are fabulous. The top one is a stunner, you captured the majesty of it very well. The rondawels are unique and beautiful. Very nicely taken. And the lovely little mountain stream has a glory of its own.
ReplyDeleteAmazingly, my little camera has a big heart, when I really ask nicely. Thank you, Benni.
DeleteHi Marianne !! Three fabulous shots for Anders' 'Rocks' theme. That first one looks like it's a giant child's building blocks!! I've seen the second one before, but glad you posted it again, as it's one of my favourite SA shots. The 'Rondawels' are beautiful. Lovely rocky stream to finish off with :-))
ReplyDeleteYes I thought I might have used it before for an I&W challenge, but had no energy to think of something else and it is so spectacular, I felt, all should see it. LOL
DeleteCome visit and I will take you and Joanne to all the lovely places here and more.
Peculiar rock formation. Impressive mountainous landscape. Serene and beautiful shot of the river and surroundings.
ReplyDeleteAfrica is impressive, Anders, in all its diversity and beauty. Rich in heritage and wild landscapes, our people and our animal world too. I love it here.
DeleteWonderful captures my friend great examples of the amazing African landscape
ReplyDeletethank you Baz, happy you enjoyed them
DeleteBeautiful work, Marianne! it would be hard to choose a favorite. They are all amazing. The rock formations are incredible and I love the bright greens and the coolness of the stream in the last.
ReplyDeleteThank you Debby.
DeleteWow... Marianne, three awesome shots! Love them all...
ReplyDeleteMarianne, these are great shots. The rock formation in Zimbabwe is incredible. It seems that it was assembled by humans. The valley view is breathtaking. The last image is pastoral. I like how you placed yourself to shoot the stream. Peter Jackson could have picked this spot to shoot the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
ReplyDeleteSorry but I can't pick up with each shot here. It looks like I would never be home at night and be out shooting 24-7. What a great studio to have. I want to come play too. >LOL<
ReplyDeleteanother stunning set! the top one looks like someone created that pile, the middle one is very unique, I have never heard of Rondawels, the bottom one is peaceful as can be
