Hi DP your rocks are lovely. What is on the first one. very interesting. The second one is really pretty. Looks like a place you could sit and relax. The last shot is that a breakwater? Neato.
Hi Danette!! Three great shots for the theme!!! That first one is most unusual. Rocks stuck to a rock? Weird!! LOL. Lovely second shot, very tranquil-looking. Any 'gators there, pretending to be rocks? Good one of the very solid-looking breakwater in the last shot.
Hi Danette, did you take the first one home with you or resist temptation? I would have taken it, so interesting, there is amber on it too. A great talking point, but they do say, take nothing, leave nothing, only leave your footprints or something, now. The second one looks like a tranquil little forest stream, the last I thought was a breaker, but I see you say part of an old fort, wow, that is some huge pieces of shale lying there. Great captures all, well worthy of a rocky theme.
I should have said the breaker is part of an old fort...sorry! I did leave the first one, that's why I took the photo LOL I have tried to stop taking shells...done pretty good so far
No doubt about it, I would sooo have taken the first one home!! I love the tranquility of your middle shot - is that a tiny waterfall? Also love the colors of the old fort against the sea.
Sorry to everyone, because it is taking me awhile to get around to all the post. Been limited on my time in the morning with the computer. But I am working on it. The rock at the start is interesting for sure. With all the trinkets attached to it. That would have been a keeper, Well in a way it was, and now is in your portfolio.
Sorry but the computer decided to take a rocky road of its own. Now the rocks along the creek bed really stand out. As well as the jetty of rocks on the ocean. Cool captures.

the first rock was on the beach...shells and rocks attached themselves to it
Deletethe last shot is part of an old fort
Wonderful shot of the amber dotted stone. Looks like a playground for Neireids - watersprites.
ReplyDeleteDramatic third shot.
