I am late, I am late, for a very important date, no time to say hello, goodbye, am late, am late, am late............ so sorry dear Belita, I am running against time, but did manage to do your wonderful theme, albeit very very late. Loves and Hugs.
"I wonder what this darling granddaughter of ours is going to grow up to be.........." My husband asked me:-
Will she be pretty? Will she be rich?"
Here's what I said to him ....................... "Que, sera, sera, whatever will be will be, the future not ours to see ......."
.............. "As long as she is happy, healthy and safe.......... "
I wonder ............... "can he sell this old kettle or use it himself?"
I wonder ............. "what song did the old gramophone play last?"
Hi Marianne!! Better late than never!! Beautiful shot of your grand-daughter. I'd say the guy in the second shot will probably try to use the kettle himself. As for the gramophone....my guess would be 'Putting On The Ritz'. LOL.
ReplyDeleteDon't leave it so late to post for the 'Green' theme!!
Oh, and there's some animal photos on my page you might want to look at, they are HERE
I will try Mitch, had been busy all week, we only got back on Monday late, with Mia's theme "Food". God that is difficult to get right, must have taken hundreds and then ran late and had to post an old "Still Life" instead of the bread that was still in the oven. She said it had promise and wants to use it for comments and critique and advice. Did you see I got a Gold in "Wild Life" ???
DeleteI have my greens all ready just waitinf ro the man to go out, so I can play *grins*
What a beautiful baby! I hope we'll still be a group, still be around when this beautiful little girl grows up.
ReplyDeleteThe second photo reminds me of the people who salvage things from the garbage here in NYC. Hey! If I see something I like I'll stop and pick it up, too. The people who live in Brownstones here in Park Slope leave things out all the time. We even post notices in the local "Patch" on the web, to let other people know if someone puts out something good. I came home with a bag FULL of good books yesterday!
Love the gramophone shot. I wonder, too! A very good question/thought!
I wonder .............. lol............... when this little one grows up, will I still be around? I sincerely hope we will see her as a teenager, but there is no guarantees, is there, we are not getting younger.
DeleteThank you Debby.
Three excellent 'wonderings', Marianne!
ReplyDeleteThank you Belita, apologies for being so very late, with posting.
Deleteaw what a cutie pie!
ReplyDeletehope he can use that kettle
what a magnificent music maker
The kettle works, but the tenant took off the cord for it, to save for a printer or something. I have a story going here with this "new friend" of mine, will try to post later, if anyone might be interested in "people of my town"
DeleteWonderful shot of the baby. Cool fella. His Master's Voice.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anders, for looking in. Will try to do my rounds as well.
