Hi members of this fantastic Group! Belita here to host this week's challenge, unexpectedly! Yes, very unexpectedly, indeed!!! I have had a very short notice, but I'm very pleased to do it. All of us wonder about this or that we see or hear now and then. So, this week's theme is 'I WONDER'. In fact, I wonder what you are going to post...
Thank you!
1. I wonder who lives in this mansion...
2. I wonder what the young people are talking about...
3. I wonder where this woman is going to or coming from...
Wonder-ful mansion
ReplyDeleteWhere and when the next party should be
Home or away.
Thank you, Anders!
DeleteYou're welcome, Belita.
DeleteHi Belita!! Many thanks for stepping in at the last moment to host the challenge :-))
ReplyDeleteI like your idea for this challenge, it gives lots of possibilities!! The mansion is interesting. Who indeed? It looks a bit like the Addams Family home!! LOL. Great shot of all the young folks talking. What about? Loves, life, music, school....all the things young people talk about. The final shot is the best 'wonder'. I wonder if the woman looks like that because of the effort to climb the hill, or if she has problems on her mind?
It's always a pleasure to host these challenges... Intentionally I chose a theme that might give no excuse to anyone to not contribute. Let's wait and see whether my choice of theme attains its goal. The first shot was captured in Sintra (near Lisbon) where I often go whenever I have enough free time. The others were taken in Lisbon. Personally, I think that woman had no mind problems but was feeling tired of cimbing that hilly street...
DeleteHmm I wonder???
ReplyDeleteI wonder who would paint their house blue Perhaps the owner of an ice cream factory. Good take on the theme. good "action" photo on the street and a good angle to get everything in the picture. I think the woman will be glad to get to the top. I can see her strains in the photo. Everything seems to go up or down in Lisbon.
ReplyDeleteThanks,Pat, for your kind comment. The old quarters of Lisbon are really hilly, making walking up tiresome, somehow!
DeleteVery nice pictures and a great theme. Congrats on your marvelous sofa being picture of the week. I think maybe the young people are talking about what young people everywhere talk about. :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad to know you like the theme, Benni! Thanks for the congratulations. I really feel honoured to see it being picture of the week...
DeleteHi all sorry I am not around to play this week Mum had Carpel Tunnel Surgery mid week and cant do much for herself at the moment so I have been busy catch up next week;)
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem and have had two surgeries. The weeks with a cast wasnt easy. She'll be in my thoughts. best Anders.
DeleteSorry to know the reason for your being not around this week. I sincerely hope your mother has a quick recovery...
DeleteHi Belita! Cool theme. It was fun hunting for photos for this one.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty house!
Love the second shot! Looks like a favorite spot for the young people. Is there a college nearby?
That last shot is my favorite. Looks like quite a trudge up hill. Great exercise, though!
I'm glad to know you like the theme, Deb! The second shot was taken in Lisbon downtown, in an area that's now fashionable among young people. There is no college nearby but a railway station for regional trams. Thanks for your kind comment.
DeleteI love this theme Belita, your candid shots of people always make me wonder about them. You have a special talent for capturing "I wonder"...
ReplyDeleteLove your wondering, Danette!
DeleteI've been on the road and no time for entries. Not sure of next week but if time allows, will get something done.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice time on the road wherever you may go to...

DeleteThank you, Heidi!
Great job of selecting a theme. Your photos do provide wonder for the viewers. I love the cafe scene in Lisbon and the shot of the woman walking up the street. I love the colors of the buildings and the laundry hanging from the balconies.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Robert! The laundry hanging from balconies is a common scene in the typical quarters.
DeleteI a m so sorry I am late commenting.
ReplyDeleteI have been having so much trouble with blogger. It takes hours to post or to comment.
I am on my phone now.
Your theme is great Belita and I love your shots. Especially the one
of the Lady walking up the hill.
I sure hope I can get this blogger trouble figured out.
I changed browsers again...
It's ok, Susan! Sad to know you are having trouble with Blogger. Something must be wrong. Thanks so very much for your kind words and your efforts. I really appreciate. Hope you can soon be a regular blogger. Good luck!
