A pair of Cardinals at Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NYC
A Vegetable Garden at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn, NYC
Exhibition of Egyptian Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC
(This exhibit consists of twenty-six thousand objects of artistic, historical, and cultural
importance, dating from the Paleolithic to the Roman period (ca. 300,000
B.C.–A.D. 4th century). More than half of
the collection is derived from the Museum's thirty-five years of
archaeological work in Egypt, initiated in 1906 in response to
increasing Western interest in the culture of ancient Egypt.)
Beautiful shot of the birds.
ReplyDeleteLovely kitchen garden.
Majestic statue.
Hi Debby !! Three great shots for this week's theme. Lovely shot of the cardinals. They are a bird I would love to photograph myself. Great vegetable garden in the second shot. It seems to be becoming more common in a lot of formal gardens over here to have a vegetable garden also. Wonderful example of Egyptian art in the third shot.
ReplyDeleteThose cardinals are such a thankful bird for a perfect shot. That would be worth a book title "Vegetables in Brooklyn" and what a great photo they make. Love the Eyptian statue, looks very imposing.
ReplyDeleteHi, Debby. I saw the male cardinal right away, but it took me awhile to see the female. He bright red beak really makes the shot. Love seeing the vegetable in Brooklyn. And just a magnificent picture of a sphinx. That's a "wow" picture.
ReplyDeleteHi Debby! Your three photos are beautiful, as always.... love them all but the pair of cardinals are so cute that make the photo be my favourite....
ReplyDeleteFabulous shooting Debby.
