  1. Wonderfully innovative.

    Terrific idea.

    Are they gathered for dinner?

  2. Hi Heidi!! Three great shots for this week's theme. I really like the first sculpture. It reminds me of Picasso's style. The travellers in the second shot look like they are expecting rain!! LOL. Not a great advertisment for the weather in that location. The carnival statues in the last shot are fun, I like that they are all different sizes.

  4. Hi, Heidi, three lovely pictures of sculptures. I especially like the bottom one, they look both very old and quite modern. I think they are fascinating.

  5. Three very interesting photos. I did not know that Anna Sophie Mutter was from Wehr, interesting.I like those casual statues, sculptured from life as in the middle. the third is very clever.

  8. Wow, that first sculpture makes me think of Picasso's work! Really interesting!

The travellers statues are nice. The three rotund men look like they are standing in a fountain. Do the three there represent anything specific? The woman with the brief case looks as if she is saying "hey! I'm not with them!"

I love the last one of the carnival people! That looks like a lovely street! from the roses in the background to the climbing vine...so romantic!

  9. I simply love the different themes for statues in Europe, the are either old and full of history or whimsical modern arty with a sense of flair. Great entries, thank you for sharing. Hugs.
