From my garden, the unusual checkered lily, with a checkerboard pattern in maroon and white.

    The fishing shot is heartwarming. I can just imagine the stories about the one that got away.

    Lovely catch of the Fritillery (I think that is what it is) Colourful stories at the riverside and the colourful parasol on the beach - great photos.

    Hi Benni !! Three lovely shots for this theme. Love that 'chequered' lily, the patterns and colour are beautiful. I bet that those fishing tales are very colourful!! LOL. Great shot of the beach umbrella, always a favourite type of colourful!!

      Thank you, Mitch, you know it's funny, I thought it was "chequered" lily too, but google said "checkered". Next time I will stick with my first instinct.
