Many thanks to Marianne for hosting this week, and for getting the song stuck in her head that gave her the inspiration for this week's theme 'My Favourite Things'. I have so many favourite things, I could quite easily have posted dozens of photos!! I tend to photograph my favourite things a lot, so you've all seen before many of those things: flowers, birds, insects, animals, sunsets, the awesome places of natural wonder I've visited. After a little thought, I decided on:
1) BIRDS. This Bar-Headed Goose seemed to be lost in thought when I photographed him.
2) ANIMALS: My favourite and most-photographed animal....the Ring-Tailed Lemur.
3) PEOPLE: My favourite person in the whole world, and the most important to me.......Joanne!!
Beautiful shot of the goose.

DeleteLovely shots! Mitch
ReplyDeleteYou captured all their feelings, I can see from their eyes. :)
Thanks Sophie :-))
DeleteI just love that Lemur, he has such a wonderful expression on his face. I think the goose is watching something very interesting. Joanne - goes without saying.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat. I love to photograph the Ring-Tailed Lemurs, they have such expressive faces, particularly their eyes. It's great having a wildlife park nearby where you can walk through their enclosure and get really close to them. That goose stood there for a long time just looking out over the water. I wonder if it was looking for it's mate?
DeleteAwesomme shots, Mitch! Ah all those eyes... the most beautiful of which are Joanne's, of course....
ReplyDeleteThanks Belita :-))
DeleteLove how you have captured Joanne with the sun in her yellow hair! Very nice, all three!
ReplyDeleteThanks Benni. That's my favourite photo of Joanne :-))
DeleteThank you for letting me host, Mitch. I am so pleased you like the theme. I could also have literally posted thousands of photos. My children, my horses, wild life, Princess Mousie, my darling husband, but as I just happened to have some shots that fit the song, those are what came in.
ReplyDeleteLove your goose, your lemur and of course the best one, darling Joanne. Hugs you both.
Thanks Marianne. I think everyone liked the theme :-)) There are a few folks missing, I'm hoping it's just coz they have a busy weekend and will post later.
