Picture This #192 ~ Glass

These two pieces of glass were given to me as presents. The red one is a Whale's Tail. Shayna1

My son gave me all of my dragon collection. This one has glitter in it. I shook it but I wasn't quick enough to catch it. Shayna2

This was my mothers.

  2. Hi Shayna!! It's good to see you taking part again!! However, just a reminder....PLEASE post your photos by using HTML from Flickr or Photobucket. Do not upload directly to the PT site. Thanks.

Three great shots for Benni's theme. The red glass 'whale's tail' is beautiful. The dragon is great....my mom would love it, she collects dragons and has hundreds of them!! Lovely amber glass to finish with.

    1. Ooops, sorry Mitch. I should have read your instructions instead of going by memory.

I enjoyed taking the photos for this theme and thinking about 'how to'. LOL

  5. Red is my favorite color so really attracted to the first shot. Hope you capture the glitter in the dragon one of these days.

  6. Hi Shayna, wow you have some lovely pictures of glass. I love the red whale tail and also the greenish-yellow one beneath it. Very nice to photograph them on a glass table with the light from a window, really shows them off. What a great dragon, he looks very happy with his own globe. Your mother's jar is my favorite, it is a beautiful piece, beautifully photographed.

  7. Hi Shayna, so good to see you again. So nice you could take part this week. Always remember it is never too late to post your entries, you can add to a challenge any time. *smile*

Lovely glass by you , love them all. Nice capture of the light shining in by the top one, love the funny dragon, but the bottom one speaks to me most. Maybe as from your mom. Hugs you tight. Mwah.

    1. Hi Marianne. I am so glad I COULD join in for this one. I am just about 80% better now and getting more energy.

Thank you for letting me know I can add to a challenge at any time too, as I seem to be a day or two late some of the time. *a lot of the time?* LOL

  9. Thank you Pat. I would love to be able to afford to collect some of the beautiful glass I have seen but it is very expensive. *sigh!* :-)

  10. Lovely pieces, Shayna! My sister was crazy about dragons, too. I did a couple of dragon paintings for her when she was going through her D&D phase.

That last piece is my favorite. I hope it lasts forever!
