PARTY TIME - CHALLENGE # 175 - PICTURE THIS 2012
We are having a party here on Picture This
to celebrate our official move over from Multiply.
By the looks of it, the party is really humming
and I missed out on some nice food
and drinks
better late than never they say, so here is my
contributions to the party of the year.
1. We need a drink for sure, so raided the man's bar , 5 litre of Whiskey enough?
2. A starter of Smoked Springbok slivers, with rocket, capers, lemon slices and Parmesan.
3. My dessert is frozen strawberry yoghurt with fresh strawberries, layered with whipped cream, topped with grated chocolate
now where is the music, anyone know how to post a music video??

Challenge 175, Party Time - Picture This 2012
Challenge #175: Party Time ~ Weenie Joy ~
Challenge 175: Party Time
CHALLENGE #175 : PARTY TIME
Sorry for being late but making the cake and styling it took several hours of work... It's topped with a butterfly, symbolizing gratitude to Mitch's hard work. His shots of insects are always very beautiful, aren't they?
In my understanding, the party should have some decoration at the entrance....
Vodka would be nice along with other drinks...

Challenge 175: PARTY TIME!!
Hello everyone, this is Mitch. Welcome to the very first challenge on PT's shiny new site!! To celebrate, we're holding a housewarming party, so bring food, bring drink, bring gifts if you wish!! But most of all, let's bring fun!!!
Just a quick reminder of some important rules:
A) This site is optimised for image size 640 x 480, PLEASE do not make you images bigger than that.
B) Blogger has an upload limit, so please copy/paste the HTML for your pics from photo-hosting sites such as Flickr or Photobucket, rather than uploading directly from your computer.
Ok, let's party!!!!!!
1) Chips, Dip And Flatbread
2) Red, White Or Beer?
3) Cake, anyone?

Welcome To PT On Blogger
Hi everyone, this is Mitch. I'd just like to welcome everyone who has already joined the new Picture This site, and thank you all for the kind comments about how it looks.
It looks like most of the regulars are already signed up, but I'll be spending the next couple of weeks contacting those who are still missing to see if they want to join. The 'go-live' date for the first challenge here on Blogger will be 24th November. In the meantime the challenges continue on the Multiply site. This week our host is Pat, and her theme is 'Sport or Action' shots.
Although the rules are posted in the right-rail, I'd like to remind members of a couple of important things for when we start the challenges here in Blogger:
1) Picture Sizing: The PT Blogger site has been optimised for image size 640 x 480. Anything larger than that is likely to spill over onto the right-rail or even stretch the page. So PLEASE no images larger than that. Look at the test-posts already on the site. Those are all perfect image sizes.
2) Upload vs HTML: Please note that Blogger has a storage limit for images uploaded directly to the site, unlike Multiply. If we exceed the storage limit we will have to start deleting older posts as we go, which I'd prefer not to do. Therefore, I'd like to ask that rather than uploading directly from your computer, you copy/paste the HTML for your photos from a storage site such as Flickr or Photobucket. This also gives you greater control of your image size.
If you have any questions about these things, or anything else about how the site works, please comment below.
Once again, thanks to you all for helping to keep PT alive now that Multiply is about to disappear. Let's have fun!!!

test 2
Test Post from Lynda (mrsrh from Multiply)
Test post:
New residents at the Rockin' Heart Ranch
April will throw you a rope if needed
Or take you for a ride around the ranch
Or maybe you'd like to sit on the porch & sip some hot chocolate and watch the moon rise.
Or sip a cup of coffee as the sun rises.
Or take a walk as the sun sets on the prairie.
Great job with the new site. Hope you enjoyed my little test post even though I seem to get a bit carried away posting photos.
