Fun Theme this week, and I am going to make it early too. WOW!

Starting out with a shot of Seattle from the water. This was two shots put together. I added the round shape so it would look a bit like a fish eye lens or a very wide angle lens.

Seattle

This next one for town, I added a sixties vintage look. That small town 4 of july celebration look.

For Country, I will use the cows feeding on the pumpkins. It says country to me anyway.

The city of  Wilmington, NC is also known as "The Port City"

The town of Oak Island was formerly two towns. Both of which were devastated in a hurricane, therefore (for economic reasons) the two small towns joined together to become one.

Picture This #206 ~ City, Town or Countryside

Thanks again for putting my Honesty picture at the top. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it yesterday.

Here is the Market Street in the local town of Solothurn on a market day which takes place twice a week, Saturday and Wednesday morning.

Marktgasse from St. Urs Stairs

Our village of Feldbrunnen, just down the main road from Solothurn, is actually split into two parts. The bottom part, South, where we live that borders onto the River Aar and the top part, North, know as St. Niklaus, that lays at the foot of the Jura mountains. Here is a view of St. Niklaus, a conglomeration of farms and country houses.

Here is part of the agricultural zone that surrounds our little village just after the harvest.

Picture This #206 ~ City, Town, or Countryside

Hi, this is Benni and I will be your host this week. I just returned from a visit to my brother in Chicago and was inspired while there. But I am mostly a country mouse, not a city mouse, and tend to enjoy smaller towns and the countryside as well.

So the theme for this week is a mix-or-match theme: 3 shots in any combination of a city, town or the countryside. All 3 can be of the city, or 2 of one and one of another and so forth.

I hope you have fun taking or finding pictures. Congratulations to Pat on her lovely green Honesty plants which serve as this week's banner.

Picture This #205 ~ Green

Ok, down to the wire again. LOL. What is happening with me and the time line? I have been checking in after work, just thinking 'where this theme will take me?' but as of today, I have been really way out on a green limb of sorts. Well time to get off the pot, so here is what I have for this weeks theme. A really good theme it is too. Kind of pushes the mind to come up with something new, but alas new is not in the cards this time. So from my eyes and the files taken before, here is a real bugger for me. Green dragonfly.

Or here we have some new green life unfolding before my eyes. A fern is born.

Ok last, and still keeping it small. A green back drop for a butterfly, with a splash of color in between.  Have fun and always carry the camera. When you don't have it with you the moments always show them selves. Sheesh, I need to live by my own words here. LOL.

Oh I am so late this theme, so without further ado my pictures.

PICTURE THIS #205 ~ GREEN

Hi Mitch and everyone else still around this Tuesday into a Green week.

Not my favourite colour either, though I love the green countryside after a spring rain. That is not going to happen here as we are in  the middle of winter. Spring Day is way on, 1st September and the first rains only expected about October, November.

Got some greens for you anyway *smile*

By the way, Green is not my color, I often find it difficult to manage when I paint. I am glad Mitch only ask for photos.  :)
