Slowly waking up, I realise I have to be creative on this theme. Very honoured to have my berries as banner picture. Thank you. Here are my interpretations.

Greetings everyone, this is Mitch. Hosting the last PT before Christmas. We will be taking a break for Christmas, so no theme on Saturday 22nd December. So I'll wish you all a very Happy Christmas!! We will resume on Saturday 29th December.
 This weekend sees the arrival of the first serious snow of the season in the UK, so to mark the event, I thought we'd have winter weather as the theme. And as the song 'Baby It's Cold Outside' is the subject of a really stupid debate, it would be a good title to use. 

1) Frozen millpond at sunset.

2) Seaweed and snow - an unusual combination!!

3) Frosty green in sunlight.

4) Birdy, it's cold outside!!

Good afternoon to everyone. Thank you for putting my little cat as banner picture. Quite an interesting theme! There is a book my brother had about immigrant steel workers called "Out of this Furnace" and your title, Anders, reminded me of it. Here are my pictures, I hope you like them, and I will come around to comment on yours on Facebook.

Water access spot - actually I don't know what this is. But it does seem to do with water.

This piece of concrete was washed up on the beach after Hurricane Irma. Apparently the iron I-beam was overcome by the force of nature.

Hello from Lisbon, a city that, since yesterday, is officially celebrating the season.... The theme is perfect, Heidi!

For so long time I have been quiet... we all have ups and downs in our life, haven't we? However, tonight I have decided to get out from my cocoon for a short while and share the Challenge with you. The three photos below have not been edited at all.I have got lazy to do it. It's already late. I may come back on here to enjoy your contributions and drop my comments. Thanks!

This is the cake, named Bolo Rei (King Cake) that every Portuguese household has during the season. From now on until January 6, you see it at any pastry shop, supermarket, everywhere...
The one you see here was awarded a gold medal in 2015... 
Recently they started to bake the so-called Queen Cake that instead of candied fruit has dried nuts. It seems women are now achieving gender equality at least across the pastry sector ..

Wonderful theme and glorious banner shot. Took me a bit to figure out Flickr, but I did it. This is a lovely time of year, but also busy as I am getting ready for my annual 3 month trek to Florida.
