PT CDXLIV ~ Spring

First of all - I sincerely apologise for my tardiness in posting the new theme. My mom isnt feeling very well and I had to go shopping for her. I fully intended to post my theme after I came back. I hope that Mitch do not feel that I'm untrustworthy and will not offer me a second chance at hosting. best Anders.

Here I am back in Michigan, where spring has not quite arrived. But I have pictures, and when I wake up, I shall pop around to visit yours.

Hi everyone, this is Mitch. I'll be hosting this week, standing in at the last moment. Apologies for the lateness of the post but this week's host hasn't posted and not replied to my msg.  Ok, well winter seems to have dragged on far too long, so it's about time for Spring!! Not seeing much sign of it here yet, so my photos are from previous Springs.

PICTURE THIS #443 ~ BOTTLES

Congratulations, Benni, for the beautiful and artistic banner image!
Good theme, Heidi! I don't remember to have ever had such theme for PT.

If you visit Madeira island you will often see Madeira wine  bottles on a  miniature of a wicker basket toboggan. This happens because going on a ride on a wicker toboggan  is a very popular tourist attraction.

Busy busy getting ready to fly home to Michigan this Wednesday. But never too busy to put up pictures, especially for this great theme. Thank you for making my picture the banner shot; the vase shows up in one of my pictures this week. I'm going to put these up and then come back later and comment on your shots.

Bottles and petunia

Windowsill glass
Some bottles (well vases) on my window sill. On the left you can see part of the vase that is the banner shot.

Blue bottle Man O'War jellyfishFor something different, this is a Blue Bottle Man O'War Jellyfish washed up on the shore yesterday. At first I thought it was a balloon, but looking closer I saw it was a sea creature. The blue thready thing trailing out is a tentacle; they can sting even if the animal is dead.

Morning all, congrats to Benni on this weeks header very creative I love it ;) Bottle are not a subject I often shoot, so rather than hunt through the archives, I shot off a few images around the house this morning for the theme.

Congratulations, Mitch, for the beautiful shot of the magnolia blooms. Excellent choice for the banner image at this time of the year...

Picture This #442 ~ Circles

Almost noon here and I am still in my nightgown, can you believe it? Drinking Hawaiian coffee and looking at your marvellous shots. The time here in Florida grows short but I am sure Michigan will be warm when we get there. My pictures include some experiments; it's good to stretch oneself.

Here is me playing around. In focus this is a antique glass pitcher. I'm glad Mitch said weird or unusual was ok, because this is both.
