Busy busy getting ready to fly home to Michigan this Wednesday. But never too busy to put up pictures, especially for this great theme. Blue bottle with a petunia.
Some bottles (well vases) on my window sill. On the left you can see part of the vase that is the banner shot.
For something different, this is a Blue Bottle Man O'War Jellyfish washed up on the shore yesterday. At first I thought it was a balloon, but looking closer I saw it was a sea creature. The blue thready thing trailing out is a tentacle; they can sting even if the animal is dead.
Hi Benni!! Wow, those three months have passed really quickly!! Great shots for this week's theme. Love the deep blue of the bottles in the first shot. Are they old medicine bottles? Lovely variety of glass in the second shot. Marvellous capture of the Bluebottle jellyfish!! Definitely something different!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mitch. Yup, three months goes fast sometimes. The bottle on the left in the top shot is an antique, you can probably make out "Bromo Seltzer, Emerson Drug Company, Toronto." Not sure about the other ones.
