Hi Folks, here I am in the US where many of us are gobsmacked and embarrassed. The theme will be "Eve of Destruction". Haha - just kidding. For a theme I going to use "Animal, Vegetable, or Mineral". It shouldn't be hard to take or find pictures, especially if you play with the definitions. Here are mine to get you started. You can do three of one or one each of three, or mix and match, whatever suits your fancy.
Animal: a snowy egret in flight.
Vegetable: I am not sure what sort of flower this is, but it caught my attention. It may be of the lily family.
Mineral: Ice coating my front door light.
Have fun! I'll be around tomorrow to see your pictures! Oh, and many thanks for using my farmers' market "Shops" photo as banner shot. Puts a smile on my face.

Hi Benni !! Many thanks for hosting this week!! A great theme with lots of possibility for variety. Your egret in flight is a wonderful action-capture. I'm not completely sure, but I think that flower might be a spider-lily. Lovely shot of it!! Great shot of the icicles on the lamp. Not quite that cold here ta the moment, but there's quite a bit of wind-chill!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosing Benni.The capture of the bird in flight is very good. A very original flower, have also never seen one like that. The lamp is a very good shot, especially the capture of the reflection on the wall.
ReplyDeleteHi Benni! What an awesome set of shots for the theme of your choice! Wonderful photo of the bird in motion... I would like to be that egret and fly high and above the sea.. Exquisite flower in the second shot while the third shot makes me feel cold, somehow. Love the light effect on the icicles.
