Hi everyone, this is Mitch and I'll be hosting this week. My theme is 'Woodland, Forest Or Trees'. That doesn't mean just photos of trees, but can be any of the many other wonderful sights you see within a woodland or forest. If by some strange chance you have no woodland or forest shots at all, then any tree shots will be ok too. I know it isn't always possible, but where you can please try to use shots you haven't posted before. All of mine were taken this year and have not been posted before.
1) I love to see dappled sunlight in a forest stand of narrow tree trunks.
2) A common site on the floor of any pine forest.
3) Fresh growth in the forest.
4) Fungi are a common sight in the autumn in forests and woodland.
5) There's nothing like a walk on a woodland path to lift the spirits.

Love your sun-dappled woods in the first and last pictures. I agree it is a perfect way to relax. The pinecones are lovely, squirrel paradise. Wonderful picture of the new growth, the colors are beautiful yellow with the greens. Fascinating fungus! Charming ferns, they may be what we call hay ferns and make a sweet scent in the sun.
ReplyDeleteGood choice of theme Mitch, I am surrounded by forests and trees. Good effects of the shadows on the first photo of the tree trunks and interesting variations on fir cones. I love those woodland paths, you can almost smell the trees on the photo.
