Good afternoon. Love this theme with so many possibilities! Thanks, Anders. And thanks for putting my pair of pups up as banner shot. Here are my Family Photos:

I could barely see them through the trees, but was delighted to catch a glimpse of two fawns nursing.

Florida does have cold days, this was one. A family took their dogs for a walk.

In 1967 my family took a trip to California and went down the coast from San Francisco. I snapped a shot of my sister, then 8. Heidi might recognize this spot, I think it is still popular.

1) Four generations of my family. From left to right - grandfather, twin uncles, great-grandfather, me. Taken around 1966.

2) Very trusting mamma duck brought her brood over to say hello.

3) Meerkats live in groups that are extended families.

4) Swan and her cygnets.

Greetings everyone, this is Mitch. I'll be hosting this week, stepping in at the last minute. Had to think of a theme rather quickly, so I've chosen a nice simple one: PAIRS!! Lots of things come in pairs, let's see your interpretations.

Thanks, Mitch, for selecting one of my recent shots to be banner image for this week. Excellent subject, Benni! I can't imagine life without travelling even if it's throughout one's own country. Travelling broadens one's horizons...

I have cancelled my Photobucket account as well as my Flickr account, considering that from this year on, I will be most of my time not in Lisbon, though I keep my apartment where I will stay now and then. By living in a small town located on the slope of a mountain, internet connections are not good. Anyway, I will be pleased to take part in this very interesting weekly Challenge, whenever I have favourable circumstances, as it's the case today.

Many thanks to Benni for hosting this week  from Florida. I wish I was there right now, rather than the cold Welsh winter. Great theme.....travelling is one of the best things in life. Out of all the places I've visited, the American south-west  holds a special attraction for me, so all of my shots are of locations in that general area.

Hi and good afternoon. What a perfect banner shot by Belita.  I am your host this week and I have travelled to Florida to escape the cold northern winter. The theme I have chosen is "travelling" something we all have done and, of course, we take our cameras. So find or take some pictures of a place you have gone and let's see what you experienced. As usual, I will be commenting on your pictures on Facebook; Blogger is still not letting me comment here. This is from a camping trip I was taking with my Girl Scout troop. My sister wanted to come too.

This summer I took a trip to my hometown of South Bend, Indiana. This is the inside of one of the buildings on the Notre Dame campus.

You have to do some travelling to see pelicans roosting in trees.

Many thanks to Heidi for hosting this week.  2018 wasn't a good photographic year for me, I didn't seem to get as much done as I usually do. However, the ones I did take gives me a good variety to share.
