Snow just means extra work but needed moisture for the ground as it melts, if wet and doesn't blow away.

  1. Hi Lynda. Three really nice shots for the theme. Lovely 'snow family' decoration in the first shot. That's a stunning sunrise in the second shot. You get so many fabulous sunrises and sunsets in your part of the world. Yes, snow is extra work, but it looks like you have the machinery to deal with it, in that last shot!!

    1. Yes, Russ has the machinery to deal with the snow. The blade was a new addition last year.

  3. I Love Snowmen and Women~!!
    Wow What a Beautiful Sunrise.
And, Yes Snow also makes it hard to keep on doing the daily chores , especially if you have to get out and feed the animals on a farm. I know about that.
But, it is Beautiful and I think so Exciting.

  4. Time to fix the tree and hang the garlin. That is one thing I like about winter is the sunrises, and sunsets. Not sure if it is because of the shorter days or what. But just seem to see more dramatic ones at this time of year. Well could just be me looking for something to shoot while waiting for spring to pop up.

    1. In the Texas panhandle our sunrises and sunsets during the winter are prettier than summer ones. With the sunrises, all I have to do is open the front door, snap a shot and back into the house.

  7. Nice pictures! I love your cute snowmen lanterns, the colours of that sunrise are fabulous (most of the time winter days are grey here from 8.30 am till 4.30pm)... And yes, life must go on even when there is snow... I need light like in the last picture :)
