PICTURE THIS - 177- Water in Motion

Apologies for being late, Baz, had a busy weekend, was trying to shoot for the theme, as I thought that might be more fun ............. my pond, the water feature and the hose pipe, in the end proved to be less than inspiring , never mind cooperating subjects. I have however posted them on my own site, just as a "fun" blog ..................... *groans*

So into the files we go , yet again ..........................

Witpoortjie Falls at Walter Sizulu Botanical Gardens, where we said our vows, nearly 2 years ago. My favourite place just 10 minutes from home.

    Any gold?

    Paradisiacal.

  2. you could maybe still find gold there, Anders, if you looked hard enough. Part of the mountain range where gold was first found, on the Witwatersrand by the 2 brothers, Fred and Harry Struben. Our very first home was in Strubensvalley, just down the road from the first mine shafts. The area is full of history and you can still see the old mine there too.

  3. I love the photos you chose for this theme Marianne. Do you think we can do the truffles and champers at the bottom of those falls?
    Stunning photos all three.

  6. HI Marianne. Sorry your attempt to take new pics wasn't as successful as you'd hoped. Sometime you just get days like that. We all do. Nice photos from your archive though. Lovely beach shot at Ilovo. The forest stream looks a nice peaceful place. My fave is the waterfall. Magnificent :-))
