Picture This #272 ~ Small Or Tiny

I'm so in love with our banner photograph by Debby. I have a friend who lived in New York who loves that spot.  Nice job, Debby.

On to small and tiny things. Here are my three.

Mushroom in hail
A mushroom, about an inch high, in tiny hail stones.

Green
A tiny green bug.

BlackeyedSu1
This spider is so tiny it can barely be seen. It's just a white speck on the center of the black-eyed Susan.

  1. Hi Benni !! A wonderful collection of shots for this week's theme. I love the first shot, of the mushroom surrounded by hailstones. All it needs now is a little elf to be sheltering under it. LOL. Cute little green bug in the second shot, he certainly blends with his background. The general body-shape seems like a grasshopper, but the legs are certainly not grasshopper legs. Any idea what variety of bug this is? i like that tiny spider on the Susan. He seems to be waving :-))

    1. Thanks, Mitch, I just had to use the little mushroom picture. Maybe Baz will know what the bug is, I sure don't. But it's cute.

  4. That is really a mushroom completely different to the rest. Like your little green insect - good contrasts in the gree colours, and a lovely yellow daisy.

    1. Thanks, Pat. It rarely hails here, so I knew I needed to grab the opportunity.

  7. Now that is getting up close and personal. Love the little mushroom. The green bug looks like some kind of grasshopper. It truly is a tiny itsy bitsy spider. Great takes.
