Hi this is Benni from sunny Florida where we are having a cold spell. Today it is only 60ºF/16ºC, and all the native Floridians are running around in coats and hats but those of us from the north are just wearing light jackets.

I am hosting and my theme is 'Trees' (or bushes because sometimes it is hard to tell them apart). Trees are everywhere so I am sure you have some pictures with trees in them, alone, or possibly in the background of a castle or in a landscape or even on a city street.

Here are mine to get you started.

Many thanks to Anders for hosting this week's challenge. A really good theme, we should have some really interesting entries!! I love to find strange or odd-looking things in nature.

Here are mine:

1) Bryce Canyon, Utah. I call this the 'mother and child' rock, as it looks to me like a woman holding a baby.

2) Valley Of Fire, Nevada. Wind-sculpted 'Beehive Rock'.

3) Grand Canyon, Arizona. A piece of petrified wood.

4) Sunset Volcanic Crater, Arizona. 'Horse Head' tree.

Welcome and greetings from Sweden. This week I'm your host and my chosen theme is Features In Nature. Stones, trees, etc can sometimes be shaped into the most peculiar shapes. I noticed this when I was on an excursion with a photoclub to the northern beach of my homevillage. I found a couple of really interesting objects that evening. Hope you will find this theme fun. I love this theme, Debby, and had fun looking for pictures for it.  And I'm so tickled to see my little sunflower and bug as banner picture.

April. Golden crocus pop out even before I have a chance to clean the leaves off the bed.

Catch. This fisherman attracted quite an audience when he was trying to get lunch. But this fish was too small, and after taking the hook out he let it go. I don't think the birds caught anything.
