Figure I best be getting on it here. It will be white before I get my post in this week. With all the fall colours around this one is fun. Although I have been racking most of the gold and yellows away. I do love this time the most each year. Well not completely. I love it all.

Hi Benni and thanks for hosting this week with a great theme.

At the moment we are being spoilt with sunsets in all colours. I caught this one yesterday evening, a view from the garden.

I caught this display of sunflowers on our Autumn Saturday morning market in the town of Solothurn

I thought I would do a double whammy (or whatever it is called) on this one. A bee perched on a marigold.

Hi, this is Benni, your host for this week. I will start by saying what a smashing banner photo we have this week by Randall.  Extraordinary shot.

For a theme this week I have chosen "Yellows and Golds".  Yellow is my favorite color, in its many hues from delicate lemon yellows to oranges and even gold.

There is also a bonus photo opportunity this week, strictly optional.  Many of us are celebrating Halloween or All Hallow's Eve this October 31st. This is a chance to put up a spooky picture or even kids or grandkids in Halloween costumes. Have fun. Here are mine:

Congratulations to Belita's photo chosen as this week's photo.

Windows are a great subject for photography. Here are the images that I chose.

We passed this window in Burano and I spotted this begonia sitting on the window sill. I liked the setting with the purple window covering.

The theaters of Broadway in New York City are decorative. I liked the architecture of the Lyceum's facade.

We recently drove through Litchfield, CT and ate lunch in town. Here is one of the shop's window. I liked the flower box.

First of all, thanks for the congratulations on the dragonfly for the new banner... 

This is one of the windows made out of cork that you can see on the façade of a tea-room at a Natural Park, in Lisbon Metropolitan Area.

Perhaps the window of a homesick Chinese (Lisbon)

During restoration works on a 14th century tavern, workers discovered a group of Gothic styled windows on the façade. The incised decorations above the centre window depict a Red Cross on a white background. This is an indication that the building was once the headquarters to the Order of the St. George Knights (Hainburg an der Donau - Austria)
