Picture This #233 ~ Animal, Vegetable, Mineral

Hi all, great banner, Baz, a place I would love to visit (together with so many others)

An unusual theme, Pat, well done for coming up with something different, I don't know the show, but sounds as if must have been interesting. I love programmes of that nature, better than all the other rubbish on television.

I took the photos yesterday afternoon, while inspired, rather than going into files. Maybe not the most fantastic shots, but they are from my daily life and home.

ANIMALS -  Rather than bore you with more giraffe, zebra or gazelle, thought to let Her Royal Highness Princess Mousie Mouse say hello to you once more. She was having a snooze on the patio and don't look very please being woken up with a camera in her face, yet again.
Animals

VEGETABLE (AND FRUIT) - I had just been into the garden to pick green beans for our dinner, when I found a bonus crop of strawberries, so pudding sorted as had ice cream in the freezer.
Vegetable (and Fruits)

MINERALS - These granite rocks are from The Platinum Mine up north where our Angling Club has fishing waters, there is a huge landfill dam there , stocked with carp and barble and other. When there last, Russell picked me up some more stones for my succulent rockery,  I have different rocks and quartz from all over South Africa in there.
Minerals

Have a wonderful week. I am getting back to my Sunday plans of weeding and planting, the last summer seedlings and later, have to go out to Heia Safari. My zebra had a little foal, 2 days ago, and they will not tell me if a filly or a colt, told me to come check for myself. A good excuse to go out for the day, say hello to my darlings, meet up with dear friends and have a sundowner, looking over the fields, dam and hills.

Love to all.

  1. Hi Marianne!! Three wonderful shots for Pat's theme!! Yes, Her Royal Highness does look most displeased. The look seems to say "Awww, mom....not again....can't you go bother the stupid dog instead??" LOL. Love the arrangement in the second shot. The colours of the beans and strawberries go together really well, although the flavours probably wouldn't!! Great rocks in your succulent garden. I really like the striped one on the right-hand side.

  6. Princelss Mousie Mousie really looks the part, a genuine princess and her pose is very royal. A good contrast in colour between the beans and strawberries and I like your rockery selection very much.

    1. Thank you, Pat. She is waiting here by the printer for a letter from Nera, she says?

  7. I love princess Mousie Mouse! She does look rather disdainful at having been roused and she's looking at you like "There she goes with that THING again!"

The green beans and strawberries make a lovely pic! So bright and colorful!

I love your rock garden! The striations and speckles in the granite are interesting.

  9. Oh my, can't believe I did not comment on these. Love your fluffy little Mousie, looking so content. The strawberries and beans make a wonderfully colorful picture and my favorite is the one of the awesome rocks in the succulent garden. That is a very nice picture!
