PT CCXXXIV ~ Sculptures Or Statues.

These three examples were photographed at a visit to the Copenhagen Museum of Ancient Statues also called the Glyptoteque.

  1. Hi Anders!! Three great shots for the theme. Do you know what periods of history these come from? The middle one looks to be Roman (or maybe even Greek), but the first and third ones look to be later.

  4. Anders, your shots are beautiful. It's amazing how sculptors are able to take marble and turn it into different textures: skin, cloth. You've done a very good job in capturing their techniques and the beauty of the pieces.

  7. All from my Mother Town of Copenhagen, Anders you will make me "homesick, The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek built in the 1800's is one of the most beautiful buildings in Copenhagen and there is many. I don't know if there is an entrance fee now, there was not when I was a child and many rainy days were spent wandering around there
