Hi Heidi !! Many thanks for hosting this week. An interesting theme, I haven't photographed my local area in quite some time, so I'l have to search my archive, so I'll be posting later. It's a lovely area where you live. I really like the covered bridge and the park, and that's a lovely little statue to the violinist!!

What cold be better and you have the Rhine runnijng through it. Love the park, I can imagine a good place for walks and photographs. I did not reallise that Anna Sophie Mutter was one of your neighbours,

You live in a very beautiful area, Heidi! I guess you often walk across that Park... it's good to have one within a walking distance... Nice sculpture of the violin player.. A short time ago, I read an article about her life and career...

Rules For Weekly Challenges

The rules are similar to when Picture This was on Multiply, with a few differences. As always, please post a maximum of three photos each. The Picture This page on Blogger is optimised for image size 640 x 480, so please try to post images NO LARGER than this to avoid distorting the page or overlapping onto the right-rail. Blogger has a storage limit for photos uploaded directly to the site, so please use copy/paste of HTML from storage sites such as Flickr or Photobucket as much as you can. Unlike Multiply, Blogger does not allow posting of images in comment boxes, so anyone taking part should put their photos, along with any accompanying text, in a separate post here on the PT main page, making sure the challenge number and theme are in the title line. Please note that the posts will appear in reverse order. After the host has posted the challenge, all contribution posts will appear above it on the main page, so you will have to scroll down the main page to find the host's post.

Challenge Albums & Flickr

Unlike Multiply, Blogger does not have facility for photo albums, so Picture This now has it's own associated Flickr account, where albums will be uploaded to . Once on Flickr, they will then be cross-posted to Blogger (all of this part is done by the admins, just like the albums were on Multiply). Each challenge album will appear on it's own tabbed page, along with a Flickr slideshow of the album. The cross-post only shows the first 24 images as thumbnails, to see the whole album, either watch the slideshow, or click on the little blue link between the thumbnails and the slideshow. Only the most recent three challenge albums will show on tabbed pages, to see earlier albums, you will need to go to the Picture This Flickr page. CLICK HERE TO GO TO FLICKR PAGE. Our Flickr account has tight copyright controls, so your photos are as safe as on your own Flickr page.
