Congratulations to Heidi for her photo chosen for this week's banner. It's a very clear capture of the sculpture.

I also want to thank Anders for hosting this week with this topic. I am a dog lover. We were blessed to have two great dogs for pets. Their lives are short for us but those brief years are a lifetime for the dogs.

I had this black and white print taken with our Sheltie, Boz when our daughter was young. He was very good with the children. He must have felt protective of her.

Our last dog, Rosie was a mixed breed. She had a different temperment than the Sheltie but she had some endearing qualities. She loved laying in the morning sun in our kitchen.

This is my sister-in-law's black Lab, Comet. He is such an affectionate dog. We don't own a dog now so he is our endeared pet we visit.

Congratulations Heidi on the super banner picture and thanks for hosting this week Anders.

I am not a dog person. I like dogs, but somehow my felines do not want to share their place with a dog. Anyhow as I always have a camera somewhere when I go out, I do tend to get doggy pictures. I even have a file full, marked "Dogs", so here we go.

A friend of mine is a farmer's wife and has 7 children. A couple have moved out, but they have all sorts of animals and one of her daughters has this dog. I think it has some sort of Chinese name of breed, but when I am on a visit there is always a photo to take home, so here it is.

This might be one of those dogs they call Papillon, like a butterfly. He was at a village football tournament where I was doing the first aid stuff and I took a shot.

I think this is a so-called King Poodle, anyhow he is big!!

Even dogs have to take a break now and again. In the supermarket restaurant

Welcome and greetings from Sweden. This is Anders and I'm hosting this weeks theme which is PUPPY (OR DOG) LOVE. Animals are notoriously hard to photograph but I have been lucky at at least three occasions. The first one was when we fetched our new dog at the breeders - mum held little Kalle in her arms and he looked right into the camera. The second shot is from an excursion I was on with a photoclub of which I was a member - the little dog belonged to one of the members and the third and last one is my neighbour's new puppy. Hope you'll enjoy this theme and I'm looking forward to your entries.

I would call this one 'spot the firebugs'. They are there enjoying the first days of sun.

This is a so-called Shire horse, his name is Guinness because of the white mouth. I think he was poking his tongue out at me.

Saw this perched on a gravestone in the local cemetery. Who is the odd one out?

And here it is Me after a four kilometer walk with Mr. Swiss. Resting on a bench, dressed in my walking gear and hoping to lose a few kilos in weight this year.

This owl-statue stands on the grounds of Vrams Gunnarstorp Castle near the outbuildings.

BONUS TOO! Hi this is Benni, spending my last weekend in sunny warm Florida. Mitch asked me to host and I thought it was just the thing to boost my spirits. The theme is "Unique, funny, or odd". I'm thinking most of you must have pictures that fit in this category.

And here is the bonus: usually we only post pictures we have taken ourselves. But this week, only if you want to, you can put up a picture of yourself that someone else took, especially if it is "unique, funny or odd". You'll see what I mean when you get to my picture.

Hello, I've been absent for a long time. I have viewed the photos and procrastinated on submitting photos for each week's theme.

Congratulations to Pat for her photo of the flowers chosen as this week's banner. How wonderful to know Spring comes on Friday. I don't know what kind of flowers they are but it really perks me up to welcome a new season.
