Picture This #310 ~ Balconies, Doors And Windows

This is a very nice theme and allowed me to take a second look at several of my pictures. Wonderful banner by Heidi, a place I would love to visit on a summer vacation.

  1. H Benni! Very beautiful shots for this week's theme... From those nice collection of glasswares, I easily guess how inviting your kitchen is.... The house in the second shot could be seen somewhere in a Mediterranean country, while the B&W in the third shot enhances the imposing façade of the building.

    1. Thank you, Belita. Sunlight through colored glass is one of my favorite things. My kitchen often is inviting - usually inviting me to clean it. :)

  2. Lovely shots - a very decorative kitchen window with colourful glass. the second photo is very much Meditarranean style, especially with the garden. Good photo of the capital building, I don't know if that is the natural colour, or whether you toned it in the shades of white and grey, but it is very effective.

    1. Thanks, Pat. I did go to b/w on the third picture, although it didn't make too much of a difference.

  3. Great shots for this weeks theme. Love the second shot. It made me feel like I am n Europe by the seashore and overlooking some beach while gulls scream their songs overhead. Great shots.

    1. Nikhil, thank you. This little house is very close to the ocean and the gulls screaming. Glad you enjoyed my shots.

  4. Hi Benni !! Great shots for Belita's theme. Wonderful golden sunlight catching the curtains in the first photo. Love that 'Med' style house in the second shot, certainly looks like it could be in Spain or Portugal. Imposing building in your third shot. Is that natural colour, or a B&W shot?

    1. Hi Mitch, thanks! I love that Med house too; it is about to come on the market, but you can imagine the price. The bottom picture is a b/w shot.
