  1. Hi Mitch! First of all, I would like to thank you for using that photo of me.
Now, let me write down how much I love your four entries. Awesome shot from the plane...very nice perspective of that tree...it gives me the idea that the trunk is pyramidal in shape, isn't it or simply an optical illusion?... The beautiful smile of Joanne makes the photo, either it's for up or down... Gorgeous ceiling in every way...

    1. Thanks Belita. Your view of the trunk of the tree is caused by the angle it was taken at. In fact it had a very straight and narrow trunk all the way to the top.

  2. Nice view of the lake from the plane. That is some tall tree, not from Wales I assume. Good photo of Joanne and love the colourful ceilingof the Minster.

    1. Thanks Pat. No, the tree photo was actually taken in Dorset, England on a visit to Baz. It was in a place called Avon Heath Country Park.

  3. Hi, Mitch. Excellent choice of banner picture. Great shot of Lake Mead, a bit fractal, you think? Love looking up trees, I bet that is a very tall pine. You take lovely pictures of Joanne; I think it helps to love your subjects. Looking up, grand picture of Wimborne Minster. What perspective.

    1. Thanks Benni. Yes, you're right, Lake Mead does look kind of 'fractal' when seen from that height. The white 'line' around the edge is where the water level had fallen from it's usual 'full' level. I understand it's even lower now due to continuing drought.
