lol, I LOVE the little chipmunk AND your sense of humor!

Nice shot, looking up into the tree tops! That must have taken a lotta, lotta years!

    1. Thanks Debby :-)) I'm actually disappoined with my GC shots. Because we went there by train, we only had three hours in the middle of the day to photograph. With the sun high in the sky, there was very little shadow for contrast, and as such I think my shots look rather 'flat' .

The T Rex was 'lurking' in the undergrowth at 'Islands Of Adventure' in Florida.

  3. Some great ideas. Love the fighting chipmonk. I am sure he was posting for the photo. You have a TRex? wales is full of surprises. Lovely view of the canyon and a good reflection on its past, as well as the trees.

    1. Thanks Pat :-)) This chipmunk was having a bit of a squabble with some others of his clan over some seeds that had been thrown for them.

Although there is a 'dinosaur park' near to where I live, it's mainly a children's attraction and is privately owned, therefore the 'residents' are not particularly accurate. This guy I photographed at 'Islands Of Adventure' in Florida.

  4. Excellent choices in so many ways, Mitch! Love the chipmunk... he is very cute and perhaps he could attain his goal... The dinosaur seems real and very big...oh those steak knife grooved teeth!!!

    1. Thanks Belita :-)) This chipmunk was certainly bossing around some of the others in his clan. Perhaps he was the group leader. Yes, the T Rex does look rather realistic, doesn't it!!

  6. Great collection of images for Belita's theme. I find your choice of subjects interesting. It's incredible to think about what occured naturally during the centuries to form the Grand Canyon. It's a beautiful panoramic shot of it. Great pose of the chipmunk as a boxer. " In this corner, weighing 3 lbs....". Sorry, Mitch, I don't know the conversion to the metric system. The T-Rex is really once upon a time. Great to incorporate it into the theme.
