MUST SAY THIS THEME HAS BEEN GIVING ME A LITTLE TROUBLE BUT I DID IT. ENJOY THE PICTURES.

ON THE WAY TO THE GRAND CANYON - CAN YOU TELL WHAT IT IS?

GRAND CANYON -THESE ROCKS ALWAYS LOOK LIKE OLD CASTLES OR APARTMENTS IN THE ROCKS

Hi Heidi !! Excellent shots for this week's theme!! Of course I recognise the first photo....it's a speedboat on Lake Mead, near the Hoover Dam, which can be seen on the approach into or out of Las Vegas. Beautiful shot of the Grand Canyon. I like your thoughts on that....they do resemble natural castles!! That tree in the last shot sure has a weird root system.....looks like a squid or octopus!!! LOL.

Hi, Heidi, great shots! Is that Lake Havasu? I'm just guessing. The canyon is a photographer's dream; you have done a nice job with it. And I, also, love the wood in Golden Gate park. All twisty and fascinating.

Lovely photos, I thought at first that the first photo was clouds in the sky. Good shot of the canyon and intersting wood shape.

Rules For Weekly Challenges

The rules are similar to when Picture This was on Multiply, with a few differences. As always, please post a maximum of three photos each. The Picture This page on Blogger is optimised for image size 640 x 480, so please try to post images NO LARGER than this to avoid distorting the page or overlapping onto the right-rail. Blogger has a storage limit for photos uploaded directly to the site, so please use copy/paste of HTML from storage sites such as Flickr or Photobucket as much as you can. Unlike Multiply, Blogger does not allow posting of images in comment boxes, so anyone taking part should put their photos, along with any accompanying text, in a separate post here on the PT main page, making sure the challenge number and theme are in the title line. Please note that the posts will appear in reverse order. After the host has posted the challenge, all contribution posts will appear above it on the main page, so you will have to scroll down the main page to find the host's post.

Challenge Albums & Flickr

Unlike Multiply, Blogger does not have facility for photo albums, so Picture This now has it's own associated Flickr account, where albums will be uploaded to . Once on Flickr, they will then be cross-posted to Blogger (all of this part is done by the admins, just like the albums were on Multiply). Each challenge album will appear on it's own tabbed page, along with a Flickr slideshow of the album. The cross-post only shows the first 24 images as thumbnails, to see the whole album, either watch the slideshow, or click on the little blue link between the thumbnails and the slideshow. Only the most recent three challenge albums will show on tabbed pages, to see earlier albums, you will need to go to the Picture This Flickr page. CLICK HERE TO GO TO FLICKR PAGE. Our Flickr account has tight copyright controls, so your photos are as safe as on your own Flickr page.
