  1. Hi Debby !! Three great shots for Benni's theme. Is that the Seine I can see in the background in the first shot? Great colourful shot of Picadilly Circus, caught it on a quiet day, I see!! LOL. Lovely shot along the Thames, with St Paul's and the 'Gherkin' in the background :-))

  2. Hi Debby!! I am really enjoying your photos. The top one is so well done with the greens of the trees and the patina of the column. Piccadilly Circus seems like both a very busy place, full of interest. My favorite is your magnificent shot of London along the Thames, classic in black and white, with the clouds, old and new buildings, and the boats. Thank you so much! Oh - just read Mitchy's comment. It's called the "Gherkin" eh? I've wondered. Prefer the cathrdral myself but both are interesting.

  3. Great shots Debby. You were so lucky to visit there.
I especially love the bottom black and white, but love them all.

  6. Debby, all of your images are great for this theme. I like the street signs in Paris. Picadilly Circus reminds me of Times Square. The black and white photo of London is done well. So that weird shaped building is called the Gherkin?

  7. Very nice photos for the theme, I really like the last one.
I've been to Paris few time, can never stop shooting...
But next time I go, I will simply be with Paris without always taking pics. :)

  9. Oh yes, I am lucky enough to say been there and seen that - all three. I especially like No. 2 and No 3 from the town where I grew up. I spent many evenings at Piccadilly Circus and the Thames is my river, although changed over the years of course. I particularly like the b/w choice you made for the picture. I grew up just about half an hour walk from the Gherkin.
