  1. Hi Heidi !! Many thanks for hosting the challenge this week. Nice theme you've chosen, I think most people will have shots for it.

Your grandson looks to be having fun the the first shot, and the third shot. The child in the second shot doesn't look too happy about only getting the bronze!! LOL.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to take part, as I have no photos of children at all. I've never had children of my own, nor have any close relatives who have, and as a man often out photographing by himself, I would never consider aiming my camera at other people's children, it can be misinterpreted!!

    3. Thanks Heidi, unfortunately it still doesn't help. I don't have anything to fit that either.

However, I had a brainwave......you didn't specify it had to be only human children....so I'm going to think laterally and use 'non-human children'....hope you don't mind!!

  2. Hi Heidi - that is a lovely grandson you have. I love the tot at Carnivale, too, even though she doesn't look too happy. I almost went with Mitch and thought "laterally" - I found a whole bunch of pictures of me at a goat exhibit at a fair. There were lots of "kids". Unfortunately, I was in all the pictures, meaning Tom took them. No problem, it was fun to look at old prints and take a trip through memories.

  3. Hi Heidi, your photos are great. I love the photo of the child riding on the shoulders of the Carnivale person. Nice shot of the boy feeding the duck. The last image depicts the essence of childhood. The children just seem to be caught up in the moment.
