Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, NYC
The Park at East 47th Street between Second and First Avenues, just north of the United Nations, was acquired by the City of New York in 1948 and named Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza in 1961. For many years it has served as a popular gathering place for public demonstrations

  1. Hi Debby!! Wonderful shots for the theme, and in B&W as a bonus!! Wow, the engine in the first shot looks very well cared-for. A recent restoration project, maybe? The Dag Hammarskjold Plaza is a beautiful place. Wonderful Hibisicus in the final shot :-))

  3. Hi Debby, I love your first shot, a bunch of curves where I wouldn't think to look for them. So many both large and small. The Hammarskjold Plaza is particularly well done in black and white. Beautiful hibiscus. Through your pictures, I see New York as a place full of natural beauty.

  4. Three very different curves. The B&W make them stand out even more. The engine has loads of curves in the Chevy Nova. I had a '73 Nova SS back in the day...I had so many tickets I ended up having my license suspended for 3 months...thankfully I learned THAT lesson real quick LOL
I love the middle photo, it is a very artistic structure...the hibiscus is always lovely :)

  5. The first is exceptional, almost a painting. Love the details of the metal frame and the third is a wonderful study in shades of b/w
