  3. Nice castle, steeped in history from the look of it. Nice effectful photo of the plasma ball and Bryce Canyon is certainly a perfect example for geology. Like the different shades of colour i the stone. Nice shield bug, looks like something we call a stink bug.

    1. Yes, the castle has a lot of history in the wars between the English and the Welsh. The shield bug is a relation of the stink-bug you refer to.

  4. Hi Mitch - a big WOW on your first picture. Straight out of Game of Thrones, haunting and mysterious. The plasma ball is fun and also mysterious as I have only a vague knowledge of what plasma is. Wonderful Bryce canyon and cute bug macro, as always well done.

    1. Thanks Benni :-)) I was lucky (I think!!) that day at the castle. I had hoped for blue skies and sunshine, but the dark storm clouds I got actually added a much better atmosphere. I got quite a few great shots that day, but this one is my fave.

  6. Hi Mitch! Awesome shots, as always... Not easy to pick up a favourite... however, I like the top one very much, perhaps because History has always been a subject that I studied with pleasure...

  7. Great panoramic of the castle and Bryce Canyon. Tough to pick a favorite. They all match Ander's theme.
