Picture This #261 ~ Stone Soup

Hi all, congrats again to Debby on a fantastic shot for the header and on a really unusual theme which I love.

We eat very little prepared food at my house, so the larder is always full of fresh fruit and vegetables. It was a beautiful morning here so I set the camera up in the garden and shot my donations to the soup, I hope they will contribute to a tasty dish LOL.

Have a wonderful weekend.

  1. Fabulous, pictures, Baz, the fruits and vegetables look so good against the wood. Nice knife, I like it a lot.

  2. Some very appetising photos. A lot of work goes into those vegetables before they even leave the bush

  3. Wow, Baz! Wonderful contributions! Beautiful shot of the veggies and the knife. I'm thinking you must be very proud of that knife since it's in every shot! ;)

The pear in the second shot is absolutely the prettiest I've ever seen. What kind is it?

Purple hull snap beans! I remember sitting on the front porch and snapping beans with my grandmama! They're perfect for the soup! What fond memories your photo brought to me!

Those tomatoes are BEAUTIFUL! My favorite shot of the four, but they are all perfect.
