Picture This #269 ~ Near And Far

Hi all, I hope your all having a great weekend. Thanks for a fantastic Theme from Benni and Congrats to Nik on the header this week.
I have always enjoyed taking shots with something fairly close to the camera incorporated into a landscape shot, so for this weeks theme I have chosen shots of this type. I hope you enjoy them.

    Fabulous shots, Baz, the first one in particular grabs my eye, maybe for the reason you mention. I can look far into the distance and also closer at the boys playing on the beach. Always nice to see Marci in your pictures and the coming of autumn.

    Hi Baz!! Fabulous shots for Benni's theme. That first shot is wonderful, the quality of light is awesome. Lovely shot with Marci, and gloriously blue sea. The Poole Harbour shot is so tranquil-looking. Could imagine sitting there drinking a beer. Lovely Fall scene in the last shot.

    Hi Baz, wonderful images for the theme. My favorite is the first photo at Bournemouth. What makes it for me are the warm tones of sunlight. I like how you compose the shot from the dock at Poole Harbor. Nice autumnal colors in the last photo. Try New England sometime.

    Quite wonderful shot of your wife on the waterfront.

    Serene and beautiful shot of the boats at anchor

    Utterly lovely shimmering greens and yellows of the leaves over the gently flowing river.

    Great shots, Baz! You do exceptionally well with light and water. That first shot it just brilliant!

    That coastline is pretty, but it's Marcie that really makes the shot spectacular! ;)

    Love the dock photo....Do I hear Otis Redding?
