Picture This #223 ~ Yellows And Golds

Congratulations, Randall, your photo of the week is fantastic.
I apologize for entering my photos at the end of the week. It's been a busy week.
Thanks for giving me this reprieve.
This track is now used for freight. It was originally a railroad connecting New York and Boston. It was called the Airline.

This is the altar screen in Santa Croce, Florence, Italy

It was a winter morning when I seldom go out to shoot the sunrise. This is one of the churches in our town.

Here is another shot of the orchard in Autumn.

  1. Robert, your pictures are certainly worth the wait. The train tracks lined with yellow maple leaves is a beautiful picture and a grey angle. The altar of Santa Croce brings back the golden splendor of the Renaissance. I love the church doors in the morning sunlight, perhaps my favorite. And the orchard in autumn is genuinely beautiful. Very nice shots.

    1. Thank you, Benni. I agree with you about the church doors in the morning sunlight. I'm partial to it because I woke up early and caught this moment.

    1. Thank you, Pat. The railway is one of my favorite places to photograph. I have a snow scene from the same perspective.

  4. Hi Robert!! Better late than never, says I !! A lovely set of shots for Benni's theme. The Altar-screen and the church shots are both beautiful. I really like the orchard shot, but my fave is definately the shot of the railway track. I love the Fall colours and the perspective.
