Such a wide-open theme! I went with these.
One of the weirdest skies I've ever seen. It absolutely looked like it was on fire
A sunset through the trees. I kind of looks like the branches are making a heart:

Picture This 193 - Sky
So let's see what I can offer on sky from my collection. Looking throught it seems I have used some of my sky photos, but I am sure I will find one somewhere in a dark corner ready for a Pulitzer prize.
Looks like there is a storm brewing over my little village of Feldbrunnen
I named this one cloud view over Switzerland, I took it from the plane flying to London
Yes, not only gold bars and gnomes in Switzerland, but clouds, something completely different
I am not sure what the cloud god wanted to say with this one, but I thought I would throw it in as an extra
Looks like there is a storm brewing over my little village of Feldbrunnen

Hi everyone, this is Mitch and I'll be your host for this week's challenge. Before we get to my theme, I'd just like to thank Benni for hosting last week. Her theme of 'Glass' was the most popular to date, with 17 members contributing.
My theme for this week is 'SKY'. It gives you a very wide range, you could use sunrises, sunsets, moon shots maybe.....dramatic cloud formations, sun-rays, rainbows, even birds or aircraft flying across the sky. The choice is yours!! Even though it's Easter, and maybe you have family get-together's or other special events planned, I still hope to see a lot of your fabulous photos again this week!!. As a special treat for Easter, you can post a bonus 4th photo if you wish. Here are mine:
1) A moody Spring sky.
2) A glowing sunset behind an oil refinery.
3) An approaching storm front.
4) A hazy red sunset over the Cleddau River.

I didn't find the photos I was looking for but did come up with something so I guess the search wasn't a complete failure.
~*~*~*
My first photos is a blue glass insulator on a steel rod that I use to keep the water hose from being drug across the flower bed.
I just like the way sun shines though the colored glass at different times of the day.
My next photo is one I did for a photo blog back on Multiply so some of you may have seen it. Items setting near the kitchen window - my breakfast being made.
Grits -- my own Texas country style.
Some of you may have seen this photo too.
It's the old run down house across the road.
Photo taken looking into the rear view window of the pickup.
A tree is also reflected in the pickup window.

PICTURE THIS #192 - GLASS
Thank you once again to Benni, for stretching our brain muscles this weekend with her fabulous theme of GLASS
As earlier said , had to go shoot specially for this, as for me a difficult concept not often accomplished.
1. A small table with ornaments in front of a window in the one guest room.
The one we call the blue room
3. Glass ornaments on a shelf in the grey room.

What a great theme to play with. There are many interpretations to apply. I've viewed the other contributions to gain some inspiration. This lead me to go through my folders to find these images.
The first one is a shot of a window in a gift shop. We were at the Heritage Museum in Sandwich, MA. This window with the glass was intriguing.
This shot is the west wall of the Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven, CT. The reflection of the building across the street captured my eye.
This last image was taken several years ago in the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. This helicopter was suspended from the ceiling. It's not a beautiful image but it shows the innovation of the museum.

Thanks so much for hosting, Benni, and for such a great theme. I knew right away two of the photos I would use, but had to search for the third. My first: a variety of glass bottles from the 1940s:
A crystal chandelier from one of the Trump casinos in Atlantic City:
And a Swarovski crystal star. This star is a duplicate of the star that they place on top of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center in New York:
