And here is the Swiss contribution. Let's start with my favourite watch. I have had this for many years. I always wanted one. A Swiss brought the Swiss ethnic series out. Each model depicting a Kanton of Switzerland. Mr. Swiss bought me this for Christmas and after a complete revision last year I am still wearing it every day (although I also have a gold watch but only for special occasions). This model depicts the Kanton of Schwyz.

Hi Pat !! Thanks for your contributions from the Swiss branch of International Picture This :-)) That's a really beautiful watch. St Urs cathedral is a very imposing building!! It really towers over the town. I love wild flower meadows and I think it's great you have one so close to your home.
ReplyDeleteNice to share your favorite things. Pat
ReplyDeleteI love that Swiss watch! Classic indeed.
Three wonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteSwiss-made is truly what it is :)
Impressive building and lovely meadow.
Well, that watch is really beautiful... Have never seen anything like that. Love those edelweiss flowers... Would like to visit that market... must be very different from the usual ones we have in Portugal... lovely meadow of wild flowers..
ReplyDeleteWatch out (excuse the pun) Pat. Belita is well known for her love of watches, that one could go accidentally missing *winks*
DeleteWow, I think if I had that watch I would never take it off. What a terrific job you have done to capture the details of its beauty. A grand cathedral and a great plan for wildflowers.
ReplyDeleteThree fantastic shots Pat. Love the watch and the wildflowers.
ReplyDeleteI threw 3pkts of wildflower seeds in a patch that I wanted that look and none of them did a darn thing!. I was not amused. LOL
Hi Pat love the watch I have one to the canton Basel one-
ReplyDeletelove the flowers soon soon ours will do it to
You are so right about our International Picture This. If we had to name our countries, from where we were posting, would really be something. I must try to do a list. Wish we could get Sonny to join in from India, but she is so busy with her FB and other assignments.
ReplyDeleteI love your Swiss contributions, my favourite is the meadow, but am so surprised not to see any furry tails anywhere, not even a whisker. Did the 3 darlings go on holiday?? *smile*
My furry chiefs do not regard theirselves as "things" coming from origines with a higher intelligence than the common humans. Their superior race do not allow contributions with favourite things, they would be more at home in "What makes the world go around", or "Einstein's teachers".
DeleteI should have expected that reply , Pat. YOu made me smile this morning. Now there is a theme for you. Are you hosting? "What makes your world go round?"
Deletewhat a nice watch, Pat. I love it. ty for the congrats.
