Picture This 193 - Sky

So let's see what I can offer on sky from my collection. Looking throught it seems I have used some of my sky photos, but I am sure I will find one somewhere in a dark corner ready for a Pulitzer prize.

Looks like there is a storm brewing over my little village of Feldbrunnen
Storm weather over Feldbrunnen

I named this one cloud view over Switzerland, I took it from the plane flying to London

Cloud view over Switzerland

Yes, not only gold bars and gnomes in Switzerland, but clouds, something completely different

Interesting clouds dark view
I am not sure what the cloud god wanted to say with this one, but I thought I would throw it in as an extra

Clouds over Feldbrunnen

  1. Lovely shots of the Blue and the Grey

  2. Hi Pat !! A lovely collection of cloud shots!! That first one certainly looks stormy.....plenty of rain on the way, by the looks of it!! Nice aerial shot in the second. I like that cloud-pattern in the third shot. What's called a 'Mackerel Sky' here in the UK. A more unusual cloud formation in the last shot, almost looks like it's racing towards you.

  3. Pat these are wonderful

  4. Wow, so many lovely clouds! :)

    Happy Easter to you, Pat

  5. Beautiful set of cloud shots. Amazing colours in the bottom one, my favourite...

  6. Pat these are just awesome shots. I especially love the airplane shot.

  7. Lovely sky and clouds; the third looks like ocean waves.

  8. I love the cloud shots,Pat. you have me singing " Both Sides Now"!

Bows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
    And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way

But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way

I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
    It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all

  9. Pat, these are great images for the theme. The second image reminds me of the photo that I took over the Alps when we flew from Germany to Italy.I forgot about that image until I saw yours.
