Photo Of The Week: BENNI
So different from what we can see in Europe! Very nice shots, Marianne! The top one is my favourite...
Mine too, Belita, to be honest, thank you .
"Strawberries, strawberries - here be strawberries. 20,- for a k - 30,- for 2."Cool perspective.Out walking the street.
hehe, no strawberries, Anders, potatoes, carrots, yams, oranges, tomatoes and onions
~sigh~ ... made me feel a little nostalgic wandering through your streets!! GORGEOUS pictures filled with the essence of SA .....
maybe I should do a whole street blog, just for you ?? *smile*
Hi Marianne!! Great to see you back and posting!! Love all your shots, so different form the European and American scenes that most others have posted. The ones of Bulawayo show a distinctly more austere atmosphere to the ones taken in SA.
Thank you Mitch
Great to see you Marianne. Hope you have recovered from your illness and not overdoing anything.Your photos are very instructive in that they show a true part Of Africa. I do like the bottom one showing that beautiful Jacarander tree.I wish they had spell check here. LOL
still coughing,Shayna, still on nebulizer, but getting there, slowly though, feel much better, thank you.
Hope you are now completely recovered.I must say the streets of South Africa are certainly different from the streets of Switzerland and other Euopean countries. Love the photos, something really completely different.
I love the photos of the streets of Europe, make me feel homesick. Thank you, Pat
Very different street scenes from all other posts.I like the last photo the best, I think it expresses all four of them in just one shot.
Thank you, Marcel, it is so difficult to choose, I wanted to really show you the real Africa.
I love them all, Marianne, and I'm so glad you were feeling well enough to post. As others have said, very different from those that have posted before, but a really good view of life in South Africa, which I'm sure all appreciate. (Hugs to you, my friend)
Thank you Joanne and thank you for the hugs, much needed at the moment.
LOVE THEM ALL THANKS THANKS
Thank you, Heidi
