Picture This #206 ~ City, Town, Countryside

The city of  Wilmington, NC is also known as "The Port City"

The town of Oak Island was formerly two towns. Both of which were devastated in a hurricane, therefore (for economic reasons) the two small towns joined together to become one.

  2. Hi, Danette, happy to see you. You have captured the charm of Wilmington with your lovely top picture. I love the middle photograph, maybe my favorite, simply beautiful with sea, sand, grass and houses. Interesting history, too. And finally, a lovely country road, very nicely done. Thanks for joining us with three great pictures.

  3. Hi Danette!! Three lovely photos for Benni's theme :-)) Wilmington looks a nice place. Is this a typical street? Lovely shot of Oak Island, beautiful white sands. Great shot of the rural back road. I love exploring roads like that.
