  2. Hi Debby!!! Three wonderful shots for the theme. I really like the mellow light in the first shot, looks very peaceful. Amazing to think it's in NY!! Noble words on the wall in the second shot. I wonder if we'll ever truly get there? I assume the building in the third shot is a recreation of a traditional Irish cottage? Love the stonework.

    1. here's a bit from Wiki, Mitch.

      The cottage at the memorial is from Carradoogan in the parish of Attymass in County Mayo. The cottage belonged to the Slack family but was deserted in the 1960s. The Slack family donated the cottage to the memorial in "memory of all the Slack family members of previous generations who emigrated to America and fared well there.

  5. Hi Debby, all three shots go well with the theme. I love the sunlight on the first image. Nice shot of the wall with FDR's Four Freedoms inscribed on it. I'm interested in the stone dwelling for the Irish Hunger Museum. Where is that in the city? Nice photo of it.
